Unboxing & Framing

Unboxing

You are so excited! You have a package from Revolicius! You waited patiently for it to arrive and now it’s finally here! What should you do now? The product is shipped rolled in cardboard tubes for the best protection.
To remove the print from the cardboard tube, simply remove the plastic cap and gently slide the print out. They should not be forced out. Doing so may damage the print.

Once the print is removed from the cardboard tube, find a large, flat surface to uncurl it. The surface should be clean and clear of debris to prevent any scratch or dent to the print. Place heavy objects on each corner of the print and allow it to sit for some hours. If you’re impatient to get the poster flattened out, you can use the cardboard shipping tube to uncurl the print. Simply wrap the poster around the cardboard tube in the opposite direction of the original curl.

In Revolicius we use pigment inks, that means your artwork' s colours are going to last for a lifetime.

Are you daring enough? Then you can always use that grandma’s old frame to add some extra style :-)

However I would recommend that you don't expose your poster directly to the sun light for many hours, everyday.

Given the proper care, your Revolicius poster should offer a lifetime of enjoyment.

Framing

What is the reason to buy a print? To decorate your space. To frame it and display it and be proud that you have it! But although A3, A2, A1 etc. are the standard print formats, soon you realise how difficult it can actually be to frame a print, for a reasonable cost!

So I design all my illustrations in formats, that are standard for the most common frame sizes, available around the world. Unless you want to make a bespoke frame, that makes framing easy and affordable.

However I get asked quite often, what kind of frame I wood suggest or is my favourite, for my prints. That’s why I present some mock up examples, of low cost frames from IKEA, that I think they could match.

IKEA RIBBA

IKEA LOMVIKEN

This frame has classic straight lines and comes in many sizes, perfect for a large picture wall. The plastic front protection is safe – and does justice to the motif.
